Standard Chartered Bank sets up first global fund management company in Singapore

Standard Chartered Bank has announced the establishment of its first global fund management company in Singapore.

Standard Chartered Bank said in a statement on Monday (June 10) that this is its first variable capital company (VCC) established in Singapore, named Standard Chartered Funds VCC (SC Fund), which will enable the bank to launch a series of funds to provide clients with unique investment strategies.

Standard Chartered will work with the industry’s leading global fund managers, creating synergies with Standard Chartered’s global team of asset class experts to provide clients with rare customised investment strategies.
