Singapore and Malaysia to create super hub

Singapore and Malaysia are working to turn a busy border region into a vast trade and transport hub, a move that could help boost their economies.

Negotiators from both countries are working to finalize a deal to designate parts of Malaysia’s southern Johor state as a cross-border special economic zone by the end of this year.

Technology companies including Nvidia and GDS are already investing in data center parks that are expected to expand under the deal.
